GWACalc helps Philippine students estimate a General Weighted Average from course grades and units. It is designed for planning and checking calculations, not as an official academic record.

Independence and accuracy

GWACalc is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any university, government agency, scholarship provider, or registrar. University grading scales, rounding rules, exclusions, and honors requirements can change. Confirm every result and policy with your school’s official registrar or handbook.

How calculations work

The standard calculator multiplies each grade by its course units, totals those values, and divides by the total units. School-specific tools are estimates based on the published scale available to the site; they are not a substitute for an official transcript or evaluation.

Privacy

Grade inputs are calculated in the browser. Do not enter personal identifiers, student numbers, or confidential records into any shared device or link.

Editorial policy: pages should be reviewed against primary university sources before publication. Where a rule cannot be verified, the page should say so rather than present an estimate as a fact.
