1. DOST Scholarship Grade Weighting Rules
The DOST-SEI evaluates academic standing using the credit-weighted GWA formula. Each course grade is multiplied by its unit value, summed, and divided by total units enrolled.
Under the August 26, 2026 proposed ₱8.67 billion budget in the 2027 National Expenditure Program, maintaining the 2.50 GWA benchmark qualifies 67,504 scholars nationwide for uninterrupted monthly stipend disbursements of ₱8,000.

Does a grade of 3.00 in one subject cancel the DOST scholarship? â–¼
