Understanding the Philippine Salary Grade System (SSL VI)

The Salary Standardization Law categorizes all civil service plantilla positions across 33 Salary Grades:

Salary Grades 1 to 10: Sub-professional, administrative support, and clerical positions.
Salary Grades 11 to 24: Professional, technical, and scientific positions (including Public School Teachers, Registered Nurses, Engineers, and Legal Officers).
Salary Grades 25 to 33: Executive, managerial, directorial, and constitutional official positions (Division Chiefs, Bureau Directors, Undersecretaries, Secretaries, and the President of the Philippines at SG 33).
